Marketing Resources

For those wanting to get started in online marketing, here are some resources we recommend. Check out the free training at the bottom if you want an education on what these tools are how to use them.

Top 10 Affiliate Marketing Tools

  1. Product source – With affiliate marketing, you’ll need products to sell and there are hundreds.  Having a place to find the best ones is key and I use ClickBank.
  2. Funnel – The funnel is where you bring your customers to sell to them and capture their contact information.  ClickFunnels and Convertri are two that I recommend.  Both offer free trials and a ton of tutorials.
  3. Traffic sources – You need to bring traffic to your funnel.  The top dog is Facebook due to the number of users they have though others are catching up like YouTube, Instagram and TikTok.  Join my free training to learn more about running ads on Facebook.
  4. Email Capture – When you get someone to opt-in (give email) you need a place to capture the email and then contact your potential customers.  Aweber and MailChimp are a couple premier services with different levels of pricing based on your usage and number of emails.  This work well with the funnels I mentioned above.
  5. Webpage source – You’ll need a webpage for your funnel.  There are many providers out there but I’ve used Namecheap for years.  Their rates are great (Pro tip – search for coupons).
  6. Hosting – Sometimes you can get the website seller to provide the hosting or you can use a professional host.  I use Bluehost for all of my webpages.  Their rates are competitive but their customer service is out of this world.  They will help you with anything you need around this technical process.
  7. DesignA big part of affiliate marketing will be creating eye catching images.  Canva is a feature rich site that is free for many features and low cost for all of it.  I can’t tell you all the things you can use it for so check it out for yourself.
  8. Ad researchYou can actually access what ads other people are running for inspiration for your own.  You can use Facebooks ad library or a paid service like Social Ad Scout both of which I use.  (Pro tip: don’t copy ads, you could lose your ad account).
  9. EducationThere’s are several books that I’ve read by master marketers to get me started.  Just reading one of these will kickstart your adventure into this profitable world.  Traffic Secrets, DotCom Secrets and Expert Secrets.
